I was Grown to Be A Christmas Tree
I was planted on Wishing Star Christmas Tree Farm to be enjoyed by a family at Christmastime.  During my growing years, I was fertilized, pruned and cared for, which is why I have such a perfect shape and lush growth.  During these years, I cleansed the air, provided oxygen, protected the water supply, made a home for wildlife.  I also beautified the land that was previously barren.  In the place where I was cut, Wishing Star Farms will plant another tree in January.

When you get me home from the farm, cut another inch off the end of my trunk, and set me in water right away - if not in my stand, in a bucket of water.  If you give me water EVERY DAY, I will stay fresh and beautiful for your holidays without drying out.  Put me somewhere in your home away from heaters, vents, or other heat sources.  Please check your light cords before you decorate me.  I like to go to sleep also, so please turn my lights off before you leave your home, or when you go to bed.

Thank you for be considerate of me, and we will have a wonderful Holiday Season together.  After Christmas, when you take me down, don?t be sad.  If you will put me in your back yard and fill my branches with birdseed and other goodies for my wildlife friends, they can enjoy my branches for a while longer and so can you.  You can later have me mulched, and spread me in your yard, and help your flowers from becoming too cold should we have snow or ice.  There also may be a tree drop-off in your neighborhood that will put me out for help with soil erosion or in lakes, or as mulch.

Thank you again, Your Wishing Star Christmas Tree.
Yes we have lovely trees in 2006!
