A few years ago, we had a great farm dog, whom Grandad used to call just "Brown". Some of you may have actually gotten to meet him.
We lost dear Brown, and it's impossible to replace an animal as special as he was. However, we did find a dog who is filling some big paws in an admirable way. Four years ago we stopped at Wal-Mart on the way in to the farm. There sat a lady with a "Free puppies" box, and one rolly-polly little pup left. We decided to give him a try. He and Grandad hit it off from the start.
Buster Brown loves the kids to visit, is great help with the cattle and horses, and even helps to drive the tractor! Grandad might even have him show off some of his special tricks!
